Placements
The institute has reason to be proud of its achievement in the campus recruitment process. Around 90 percent of the students seeking placement have received job offers with highest offer being 7 lacs p.a. We are hopeful of helping the remaining candidates, to find suitable jobs by the time they leave the campus on completion of the course.
Selection is entirely the employer’s discretion. Brightening the prospects here can only be done by bringing out candidates who exude excellence in the techno-managerial domain, in their self-presentation or communication skills. This, in turn, calls for improvements in admissions, in the teaching-learning process and greater rigour in practical work such as the summer projects.
While all out efforts are on in all these areas, CAM also expects its students to reciprocate in equal measure of commitment and hard work.
Summer Project
All students are required to undertake summer training of 8-10 weeks at the end of the first year. Arrangements are made with different companies to select students and assign them projects of practical value in analyzing and offering solutions to specific managerial problems. Besides the institute faculty, one identified person in the company acts as a supervisor and guide, and provides his assessment of the students work for the purpose of awarding marks.
The summer project is also an important event that influences the image of the programme and the institute among the agri-business companies.
